This course will introduce the learner to the role of the Board of Directors and Senior Management in ensuring that the institution remains compliant with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act. The course will familiarize the learner with the Act itself, in addition to how, when, and why to file CTRs and SARs. The course will also discuss how to apply BSA requirements to other aspects of the institution’s operations. After completing this course, the learner will understand:

  • How to maintain an effective Customer Identification Program (CIP).
  • How the USA PATRIOT Act affects BSA requirements.

This course will introduce the learner to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and will offer detailed information regarding compliance with the BSA. The course will familiarize the learner with the Act itself, in addition to how, when, and why to file Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). This course will also demonstrate how to apply BSA requirements to other aspects of the institution’s operations. After completing this course, the learner will understand:

  • How to complete and file a CTR and a SAR.
  • How to maintain an effective Customer Identification Program (CIP).
  • How the USA PATRIOT Act affects BSA requirements.

This course will consider the sales skills necessary for branch managers. The learner will examine the sales compass, including identifying the need, building the relationship, advancing the sale, and more. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Close the sale and provide quality service.

This course will discuss the “market focus” and how to analyze and segment a market. The learner will become acquainted with the process of setting goals, evaluating, adapting, and improving market value and wallet share. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

This course will familiarize the learner with the role and responsibilities of a branch manager, including performance tips and ideal attributes for successful branch managers. This course will emphasize the necessity of learning a bank’s history, vision, and values in order to facilitate the growth of the branch manager and his/her employees.
