This course will introduce the learner to an overview of the types of risk in a financial model that the learner might encounter. Additionally, the course will teach the learner about how sensitivity analysis (SA) is used so that the learner understands the interactions between SA and model testing and single and multi-way SA. Upon successful completion of the course, the learner will have a strong understanding of:

  • The Monte Carlo simulation.
  • Scenario analysis.
  • Linear Programming.

The course will also provide the learner with suggestions on how to create a good spreadsheet that is functional and simple to read using the best tools available. The course will familiarize the learner with his/her responsibilities as a notary by providing detailed information regarding the proper use of the notary journal, acknowledgment forms, and seals and stamps.   • What jurats and acknowledgements are and how they are used.

This course will introduce the learner to the various duties and objectives of bank notaries. The learner will become acquainted with the process and procedures surrounding identity verification, oaths, and more. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Verify identities, notarize oaths and affirmations.
  • Certify copies and depositions, and confirm affidavits and verifications.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest by knowing when to say no.

This course will introduce the learner to the concept of business continuity. The learner will be shown the necessity of planning for a disaster or other interruption to normal operations and will be given instruction on how to create a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).   • Potential disasters and interruptions that could hinder business operations.
  • Steps to take to plan for continuity.
