The course will define money laundering, inform the learner about recent legislation regarding Canada’s AML programs, and ensure that the learner is familiar with the various entities that are responsible for regulating and preventing money laundering in Canada. Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will:

  • Understand the responsibilities of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) and the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC).
