This course will introduce the learner to the history of banking around the world, accompanied by an instructional video to bolster the learner’s understanding of eachconcept. Additionally, the course will educate the learner on how a bank’ experience, size, and future outlook help determine the learner’s role in the bank. After completing this program, the learner will understand:

  • The general ways in which a bank makes money.
  • Information on the layout of the interior of the bank, with details on the teller and platform areas, ATMs, vault services, and more.
  • The vision and value of banks.

Seat Time: 0.75hrs - Desc:

This course will explore branch security, citing statistics and detailing all aspects of security. The learner will be exposed to breaches in security and how to react. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Utilize preventative measures against security breaches at the branch.
  • Adhere to security precautions and other measures.
  • Comply with laws and regulations to enhance the safety and security of employees, customers, information, and assets.
Seat Time: 2hrs - Desc:

This course will introduce the learner to the basic skills that are necessary in becoming a successful member of the institution’s Collections Department. The course will familiarize the learner with the various guidelines and strategies that make for timely and efficient collections. Upon the successful completion of this course, the learner will have a solid understanding of the following:

  • What delinquency is.
  • The various products offered by the institution and how they can affect the collections process.
  • How to make telephone calls to customers regarding collections.
