This course will introduce the learner to the history of banking around the world, accompanied by an instructional video to bolster the learner’s understanding of eachconcept. Additionally, the course will educate the learner on how a bank’ experience, size, and future outlook help determine the learner’s role in the bank. After completing this program, the learner will understand:

  • The general ways in which a bank makes money.
  • Information on the layout of the interior of the bank, with details on the teller and platform areas, ATMs, vault services, and more.
  • The vision and value of banks.

Seat Time: 1hrs - Desc:

This course will introduce the learner to financial statements to better his/her understanding of the process of auditing and methods of accounting. Additionally, the course will teach the learner about the various types of accepted accounting methods used by companies, the methods of inventory valuation, and the decision to lease or own so the learner is prepared to determine accounting decisions. After completing this program, the learner will understand:

  • Interpreting balance sheets.
  • Determining asset quality.
  • Income statements and their importance in determining a company's creditworthiness.
