The course will familiarize the learner with departments and services such as items processing, information technology, and international operations. After completing this course, the learner will understand:

  • The functions of the Audit, Compliance, and Legal departments at the organization.
  • The importance of the Finance department to the organization.

This course will discuss the importance of appearance in the professional setting, for both men and women. The course will also outline the necessity of professionalism for tellers, including the importance of cultivating characteristics such as loyalty and respect, with additional points upon socialization. Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will have a solid understanding of the following:

  • The importance of confidentiality.
  • The organizational skills designed to improve productivity and encourage good habits in the workplace.
  • The proper procedures for handling numbers.

This course will introduce the learner to the basics of trade finance and trade transactions, with emphasis on the parties involved in these transactions, such as importers, exporters, banks, and carriers. Additionally, the course will cover the most important documents that are required in trade finance transactions, such as letters of credit, drafts, invoices, and certificates of origin and insurance. After completing this program the learner will understand:

  • Identify, address, and avoid risk by implementing various procedures and preventative measures.
  • Understand the bank products, services, and individuals which are most likely to pose these risks.

This course will introduce the learner to cash cycles and will educate him/her about how to measure the cash cycle, as well as benefits and limitations of cash cycle analysis. Additionally, the course will also provide information regarding seasonal cash cycles. Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will have a solid understanding of the following:

  • Borrowing, including the sources of borrowing and the standards by which borrowing should be analyzed.
