This course will introduce the learner to banking procedures at the branch. The course will familiarize the learner with aspects of branch banking, including the bank’s vision and values, expected teller skills and standards, and the branch members that the teller will be working with. After completing this program the learner will understand:

  • What shapes the bank’s vision and values.
  • The role of the teller at the branch.
  • What it takes to be successful as a teller.

This course will familiarize the learner with the role and responsibilities of a branch manager, including performance tips and ideal attributes for successful branch managers. This course will emphasize the necessity of learning a bank’s history, vision, and values in order to facilitate the growth of the branch manager and his/her employees. Upon completing this program, the learner will be able to:

This course will examine the strengths and skills of a sales leader. The learner will begin to understand the importance of sales coaching and motivators. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

This course will consider the sales skills necessary for branch managers. The learner will examine the sales compass, including identifying the need, building the relationship, advancing the sale, and more. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

This course will introduce the learner to the role that security plays in keeping the branch, its customers, and employees safe. Learners will become familiar with theproper procedures for dual control, unlawful activities, frauds, and robberies, in addition to preparation practices for various emergencies. After completing this program the learner will understand:

  • Effective security practices and procedures.
  • Ways to identify cons and frauds.
  • How to properly use bait money.

Seat Time: 2.25hrs - Desc:

This course will outline the array of responsibilities afforded a Treasury Department by outlining the various markets in which those responsibilities take root. The learner will be able to compare derivatives, money, and Foreign Exchange markets while also exploring Treasury services and methods for cash management. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Differentiate between the various markets in which products are bought, sold, and traded.
  • Understand and implement procedures for cash management and forecasting as part of Treasury's responsibilities.
  • Adhere to responsibilities of a Treasury Department in regards to markets, customers, and the bank itself.

Seat Time: 3.75hrs - Desc:

This course will introduce the learner to the various bank products that s/he will encounter as a teller. Some of these bank products and services are checking and savings accounts, loans, IRAs, and negotiable instruments. After completing this program the learner will understand:

  • The differences between checking and savings accounts.
  • The different account add-ons.
  • The role of additional products and services, such as wire transfers, savings bonds, and safe deposit boxes.
